This is a beginner lead guitar lesson for someone who has never played before.  It is the first scale and lesson from the Lead Guitar By Ear section of PLAY GUITAR BY EAR.  This is not the easiest scale to play, but it's very efficient and easy to remember.  We have also just added a quick and easy blues turn around, which is a good to start or end to any blues musical sentence.  

There are also sound files so you can hear how the scales are supposed to sound. (They may all start up at the same time in some browsers, you can push stop and they will continue to down load.)

 If you order this book, and you have never played guitar before, practice this scale.  By the time your book arrives you'll have a pretty good leg up on playing lead guitar.  If you already know a few chords, you'll really be ready to cook!!
